Mike Cameron Returns to Red Sox Lineup for Finale in Cleveland

Mike Cameron is back in the lineup Thursday after getting another day off, playing center field and batting eighth when the Red Sox and Cleveland Indians finish a four-game series at Progressive Field.

Cameron has played just seven games since coming off the disabled list May 25. He has not played consecutive games this month.

The 37-year-old is a .308 (33-for-107) career hitter in Progressive Field but is one of several Boston starters to never have faced Cleveland right-hander Mitch Talbot.

Those in the starting lineup who have — Dustin Pedroia, David Ortiz and Kevin Youkilis –– are a combined 4-for-6 with two doubles and a home run against Talbot.

Indians designated hitter Travis Hafner, who hit a grand slam in Cleveland's eight-run eighth inning Wednesday, is 3-for-10 with three RBIs against Sox starter Jon Lester.

The rest of the Indians starters are a combined 2-for-13.
