Notre Dame Fans Rejoice After Ohio's Touchdown Jesus Burns to the Ground
When Ohio’s “Touchdown Jesus” turned to “Torchdown Jesus” on Monday night outside Cincinnati, Notre Dame football fans just had to crack a smile.

South Bend, Ind., is the original home of “Touchdown Jesus” if you ask any football fan. One has to wonder if there’s a Fighting Irish somewhere up there after lightning struck and burned down the 62-foot Jesus statue at the evangelical Solid Rock Church along Interstate 75 just north of Cincy.

Quote of the day

“Just man up and play. What the hell is the big deal? I don’t see it as a big
deal. If I have to say something to them, then we don’t deserve to be
champions. We’re down 3‑2, we go home, win one game, go into the next
one. Simple as that.”
–Kobe Bryant, heading into Game 6

Comment of the day

Beware of those backward-faced Lakers fans.

“I don’t think it makes one ‘ghetto’ just
because they’re not pumped full of botox and saline does it. Some faces
in the Lakers crowds look like they’re on backwards but you don’t see
Celtics fans calling them names do you”
–Lets win

The best part of this Lego World Cup replay is at the 1:05 mark. Great acting by the yellow lad on Robert Green‘s collapse.
