Oprah Tops Tiger Woods, Gisele Bundchen in Forbes' List of World's Most Powerful Celebrities Behold, the incessant power of “O.”

Not even the sports world’s most disturbing, jaw-dropping and borderline obscene scandal could propel Tiger Woods to the top of one of the year’s biggest “it” lists, as Forbes Magazine named Oprah Winfrey the World’s Most Powerful Celebrity.

Woods, the top athlete on the list at No. 5, was beaten out by Beyonce Knowles, James Cameron and Lady Gaga. Yes, the same lovely “Lady” of recent Yankee Stadium burlesque show fame.

Coming in behind Woods for top athletes and sports figures were Kobe Bryant (No. 14), Michael Jordan (No. 20) and LeBron James (No. 28). Tennis star Roger Federer, who is No. 1 in the magazine’s press ranking, came in at No. 29.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady failed to make the list, but his wife and supermodel Gisele Bundchen checked in at No. 85.
