FOXBORO, Mass. — Quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Randy Moss are among the Patriots veterans who officially reported to Gillette Stadium on Tuesday morning for the second week of the team's voluntary organized team activities, according to a source.
Left guard Logan Mankins, who is unhappy with his contract, and wide receiver Wes Welker, who is recovering from knee and shoulder injuries, were the only two big-name Patriots who didn’t participate in Tuesday's practice, the source said.
Last week's four sessions were geared toward the younger players and
newly-signed free agents, and about 60 players were in attendance.
Running back Kevin Faulk said last week that the camp's intensity
would really pick up once the organization's established players
reported.
Tuesday marked the fifth of New England's 12 OTAs. The Patriots have three more sessions this week, and they'll have four next week. The team's mandatory minicamp runs June 15-17 before the Patriots break for a month and a half prior to training camp.
