With Marco Scutaro Out, Daniel Nava Leading Off for Red Sox

Newly minted Red Sox hero Daniel Nava will bat leadoff in his third major league game, filling in for regular No. 1 hitter Marco Scutaro, who is out after taking a cortisone shot in his neck.

Nava, who memorably hit a grand slam in his first major league at bat Saturday and is 4-for-8 with five RBIs with the big club, did not bat leadoff at Triple-A Pawtucket this year but was successful in the role in 2009 in the minors.

In a season split between Double-A Portland and Single-A Salem, the 27-year-old hit .345 (30-for-87) while batting first.

While Scutaro is out of the lineup for the first time since May 20, the Sox welcome back first baseman Kevin Youkilis and center fielder Mike Cameron.

Youkilis is in his customary cleanup position after missing Sunday's game. He left Saturday's contest when he took a pitch off his right elbow.

Cameron is playing for the first time in four days. He sat the last two games of the Philadelphia series over the weekend.

The only player in the Boston lineup to have faced Diamondbacks starter Ian Kennedy is Victor Martinez, who is 1-for-3 against the Arizona righty.

Here are the complete lineups for both teams:
