Fenway Park may be 98 years old, but it just got a little younger. Wally’s World at Fenway Park, a new kid-oriented, family-friendly play area, will be unveiled on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Wally’s World will be filled with plenty to entertain a restless child during a game, allowing both the young and old to enjoy their time at Fenway.

The park, located on Yawkey Way, will be open every home game from the second to seventh innings and offers games and activities for kids, kid-friendly concessions and state-of-the-art electronic systems. Video game consoles and multiple TVs — broadcasting the Red Sox, of course — will also be a part of the play area.

And what would Wally’s World be without Wally the Green Monster? The fuzzy mascot will visit his namesake in the third and fourth innings, giving kids a chance to meet and take pictures with Wally.
