Chris Paul Says He Hopes to Create 'Big Three' in New York With Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire When the American public got a chance to watch LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh parade around on stage on Friday as if they had just won 19 NBA titles already, most people cringed.

Imagine how fellow NBA players felt.

Most of them, no doubt, caught a glimpse, and it likely didn't sit well. One of them, Carmelo Anthony, probably didn't mind too much, as he was in a state of bliss before his wedding to actress/entertainer La La on Saturday. It was at that wedding, however, that fellow superstar Chris Paul introduced the idea of a different Big Three — one that could find a home in New York City as soon as this season.

The New York Post says that Paul made a speech, during which he said, "We'll form our own Big Three." He was referring to himself, Anthony and the newest member of the Knicks, Amare Stoudemire.

The Knicks could spin some deals during the season that could bring in Paul, while Anthony will become a free agent at season's end.

It may all be a pipe dream for Knicks fans, but after they spent two years waiting for LeBron to join their team, only to be left at the altar, let's let them enjoy Carmelo's wedding.
