Heat guard Dwyane Wade is getting very comfortable in the spotlight now that he has Chris Bosh and LeBron James to lean on.

The baller appeared on Jay Leno‘s The Tonight Show on Monday night alongside 84-year-old funnyman legend Don Rickles, whom Wade presented with a Heat uniform. With all that money spent on Wade, Bosh and James, could the heat realistically afford the comedian?

The Chicago native also busted out a rap that he and his brothers wrote when the All-Star was just an 8-year-old aspiring superstar.

Eat your heart out, Lil’ Bow Wow and Aaron Carter!

Quote of the day

“He looked to me real sharp right from the beginning, I think that was real obvious. That was real crisp. There was a lot of power to his
pitches and he was down when he wanted to be. He misfired a couple of times but that was pretty good stuff.”
–Red Sox manager Terry Francona, referring to Monday’s starter Daisuke Matsuzaka

Comment of the day

The Yankees may be in first place, but this comment in Monday’s live blog directed toward a Bronx Bombers fan gave Red Sox Nation something to cheer and laugh about.

NYY – I
think one of your 8 cats just got out. You should go chase it before it
finds freedom and a better life in an alley eating paper bags in the
trash can. It will never come back to your craphole cardboard box that
you live in. By the way, you’re over your allotted time for using the
internet at the library, so try to go ahead and let someone else use
it. Oh, and when you leave, don’t forget your walking helmet.”
