Another day, another signing for the Miami Heat.
The Heat came to terms with forward Juwan Howard on Tuesday. Those terms were not disclosed on the Heat's website but the Miami Herald is reporting the deal for the 16-year-veteran is worth the $1.3 million veteran's minimum.
"This is a great addition for us," Heat president Pat Riley said. "We feel that Juwan's ability to play both the four and five spot will be complimentary to what we have put together. He also gives us incredible professionalism and is a perfect fit behind Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem."
Howard brings even more depth to a frontcourt that has been improved mightily this offseason. It's a frontcourt that now features Howard, Bosh, Haslem and recently-signed free-agent center Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
Of course, the Heat also added LeBron James this offseason as well.
The Heat will mark the ninth different organization for which Howard has played.
