The baseball world lost a titan Tuesday when Yankees owner George Steinbrenner passed away.
Steinbrenner — one of sports’ most polarizing figures — gave Yankees fans seven World Series titles and always gave the rest of baseball fans something to talk about.
Steinbrenner saw it all as owner of the Yankees. He saw his team win and he saw his team struggle. He got along with some people — at times — and never seemed to get along at all with others. But regardless, his career and his life will be remembered by many.
