Could another future NBA Hall of Famer be suiting up in Celtics green and white?

According to ESPN.com, the Celtics are interested in acquiring 38-year-old center Shaquille O'Neal. Dallas and Atlanta are also listed among teams pursuing the free agent big man.

Earlier this week, AOL Fanhouse reported that the Hawks have offered the center a two-year deal but his agent, Perry Rogers, denied that the offer had been made.

The C's could use the big man down low as center Kendrick Perkins, who tore his ACL in the NBA Finals, is sidelined for six months.

Shaq averaged 12 points and 6.7 rebounds in 23 minutes per game last season.
