Angels Pitcher Scott Kazmir Unlikely to Regain Form As No. 1 Starter There was once a time when facing Scott Kazmir meant a team was in store for an uphill battle. However, in the last couple of years, the left-hander has lost his edge.

His days as an up-and-coming ace while in Tampa Bay are long behind him. He's struggling to put up respectable numbers in Anaheim, and he may not be in the rotation much longer.

Wednesday's kgb Poll Question of the Day asked fans whether or not they thought Kazmir would ever regain his form as a No. 1 major league starter.

Fans aren't sold he'll be at the top of any rotations any time soon. In fact, 62 percent of fans thought that Kazmir would never regain the form he found in Tampa, a number that even Peter Gammons thought was a little bit low.

"I'd like to know who those 38 percent are," Gammons said on Red Sox Final. "What made him great when he was young was his slider and he doesn't throw that anymore."
