It’s one thing to have athletes doing public service announcements. It’s a totally different thing to have an image of the athlete’s head floating in the middle of a galaxy while he reads the PSA directly below.
Yankees outfielder and South Carolina native Brett Gardner recently recorded a PSA for South Carolina, urging people to be fast like him and evacuate their homes quickly if need be.
In the Power Point-esque video, he even reminds his Palmetto State brethren to leave their Star Wars action figures behind during an evacuation.
