The NFC East is a pricey division.

According to Forbes, the Dallas Cowboys, at $1.8 billion, are the most valuable team in the NFL. Trailing the 'Boys are the Redskins, who check in at $1.6 billion. In fact, the Cowboys are worth more than any other sports franchise in the world except for soccer club Manchester United, which is valued at $1.84 billion. If only Jerry Jones had a bigger JumboTron in his quaint stadium.

In third place — a spot they're certainly not used to — are the Patriots, who are valued at $1.4 billion.

The NFL was not invincible to the recession, as team values fell two percent last season to an average of $1.02 billion — the first decline since Forbes began tracking the league's finances in 1998. Twenty-one of the league's 32 teams seeing their worths drop.

Fear not, football fans, as the rich get richer in the television side of things. Revenue from CBS, NBC, ESPN and Fox increased $1.3 million per team to $95.8 million for each of the league's 32 franchises.
