Frankie Edgar-BJ Penn Rematch Headlines UFC 118 in Boston The Ultimate Fighting experience comes to Boston this week, and there will be an entire lineup of intense UFC matchups at the TD Garden on Saturday, Aug. 28.

This is the first time Boston has hosted a UFC event, and the lightweight championship fight between Frankie Edgar and BJ Penn is the headline attraction at UFC 118. It is the second time the two will meet, and the Edgar-Penn rematch has mixed martial arts world buzzing. UFC fans were shocked in April when Edgar swiped the lightweight belt from Penn in UFC 112. Their lightweight championship fight will start at 10 p.m. at the Garden.

Another must-see fight is the heavyweight bout between James Toney and Randy Couture. Massachusetts-native Kenny Florian also will be featured on the main fight card in a lightweight bout with Gray Maynard. The two will be sparring over more than just bragging rights. Florian believes Maynard was trying to sabotage the fight by stealing his athletic cup two weeks ago.
