While Red Sox fans received some bad news regarding Kevin Youkilis' health on Tuesday afternoon, the Nation was able to crack a smile upon hearing what rehabbing Jacoby Ellsbury did on the farm.

The Sox' leadoff hitter recorded three hits to raise his batting average to .471. Ellsbury went 3-for-5 with two singles and an RBI double. He also lined out to left field and lined out to first base.

The PawSox won the afternoon tilt over the Durham Bulls 5-4 thanks to a walk-off, RBI single by Aaron Bates. Niuman Romero, Josh Reddick and Dusty Brown each had two hits apiece.

Felix Doubront threw two scoreless innings in his debut as a reliever. The lefty struck out two while allowing just one hit.
