Justin Lent Leads New Hampshire to 4-3 Comeback Win Over Vermont in Little League Regional Tournament

Despite an early lead, Vermont’s Little League state champions couldn’t hold on, losing 4-3 to New Hampshire in tournament action on Wednesday.

Vermont had a 3-1 lead with two outs in the bottom of the fifth, when New Hampshire’s Justin Lent smashed a three-run homer to put his team ahead, 4-3.

New Hampshire finishes group play at 2-2 and will advance to the regional semifinals. With the loss, Vermont fell to 1-3, but could still advance if Connecticut beats Massachusetts. The game will air on NESN at 1 p.m.
