One of boxer Bobby McAndrews’ first MMA fights didn’t last very long, but that’s not to say it wasn’t a memorable one.

The now 37-year-old Waltham, Mass., native was taken down by Kenny Florian at Mass Destruction XV at Boston’s Avalon in February of 2004 at the 1:57 mark of the first round.

McAndrews has fought in just three MMA bouts since tapping out that night Florian, posting a 1-2 record, and his last known boxing match was in 2007.

It was just one year earlier that Florian, a Westwood, Mass., native, made his MMA debut at Mass Destruction 10. Since that submission win over McAndrews, Florian was a finalist in the first season of Ultimate Fighter and has racked up 18 career wins as he heads into UFC 118 this Saturday at the TD Garden.

Check out the video below from Florian’s second career win in 2004 over McAndrews at the Avalon.
