NHL Considering Switching to Clear Tops for Hockey Nets

Hockey fans have heard about “clearing traffic in front of the net,” but now there are rumors of “clearing traffic on top of the net.”

The NHL is considering making goal reviews a little easier for replay officials by adopting a clear top for goals, which would replace regular netting.
