Even with all of the wet weather in the Boston area over the past two days, the Red Sox are hopeful to get their game with the Seattle Mariners in at the regularly scheduled time Monday night.

First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. and the team has released a statement declaring they intend to start the game on time.

The Fenway Park gates will also open at their normal time of 5:10 p.m.

The club is still cautioning fans that there is still the chance for delays throughout the nights and that more updates will be made throughout the night if necessary.
