Mike Lowell: Red Sox Not Capitalizing on Opportunities in AL East The Red Sox' 5-2 loss to the Baltimore Orioles Tuesday night seemed to be even more frustrating than the back-to-back losses to Tampa Bay this weekend.

Not only did it add to the losing streak, but it also came against the worst team in the AL East. To top it all off, the Yankees moved into first place in the division, earning a 9-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics Tuesday night.

Reporters caught up with Red Sox first baseman Mike Lowell during the postgame and he reiterated the frustrations felt by the entire team.

"I don't think anyone here is not aware of what's going on in the games with the other teams in our division," Lowell said. "When one of those two lose and we can't capitalize, you feel like you wasted a chance."
