Brett Favre may actually be retiring.
According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the future Hall of Famer told his teammates of his intentions to retire on Monday night.
The gunslinger has not felt physically right after his offseason surgery, and has been unable to drop weight, according to the report. Previously, all signs this offseason have pointed towards a last hurrah for Favre.
This comes as a major blow to the Minnesota Vikings' hopes for the 2010-11 season, as they were considered among Super Bowl favorites with Favre.
