As is often the case with Scott Boras clients, the negotiations came down to the final hour. But in the end, the Washington Nationals found a way to sign No. 1 pick Bryce Harper.

The Nats inked the first-overall pick to a $9.9 million deal according to Jim Bowden of XM Radio. The deal is one of the richest for a draft pick in baseball history.

According to MLBTradeRumors.com, the Nationals have confirmed that they have reached an agreement, but the details have yet to be confirmed.
