In light of the Calvin Pace's upcoming foot surgery that will keep him out for the first third of the season, the New York Jets may be add another Pro Bowler to their star-studded defense.

Rex Ryan said Sunday that the team would not rule out the possibility of signing former Patriot and current free agent linebacker Adalius Thomas. The two-time Pro Bowler had a tumultuous three years in New England, but he did formerly play under Ryan in Baltimore.

“I would say it would be a possibility,” the Jets head coach said. “I’m not
going to rule that out,” reports WEEI.

Currently, Jason Taylor is slated to replace Pace at the outside linebacker position.
