The Chicago White Sox are on the clock.

According to a Tweet from Jayson Stark, the White Sox were awarded the Manny Ramirez waiver claim on Friday afternoon. The team now has 48 hours to work out a deal with the Dodgers.

Stark also reports that both the Rays and Rangers likely put in a claim for the slugging outfielder as well. The former Red Sox left fielder, who has a no-trade clause, is hitting .313 with eight homers and 40 RBIs in 64 games this summer.
