Roush Fenway Pit Crew Experience Pulls in Final Bid of $1,500 on NESN

NASCAR fans can bid for a chance to be an honorary pit crew member for the Roush Fenway car of Greg Biffle at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in September. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Jimmy Fund.

The auction will take place on Aug. 9 during the Red Sox-Yankees game on NESN. The auction will start between 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. and will conclude at the end of the seventh inning. The winning auction amount will be announced in the post-game show. The number to call to place a bid will be 877-738-1234.

The winner will get pit and infield passes for the Sept. 17-19 race weekend when NASCAR returns to New England at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The winner will also get Roush Fenway merchandise and a chance to meet Biffle.

The estimated value of this package is $2,200.

At 4:50 p.m. the winning bid was announced at $1,500.
