Tampa Bay Rays' Mascot Raymond Launches Silly String Attack on Sleeping Fan The Tampa Bay Rays aren't known for having the most passionate fan base. They don't draw in many fans, and when they're criticized for that, they'll bring up the traffic or some equally lame excuse. That simply isn't going to work in places like Boston and New York.

While the case of the rare passionate Rays fan is a sympathetic one, this sleeping beauty certainly isn't helping the cause. Even Raymond, the mascot who's not afraid to pick a battle, can't stand him.

Fortunately, a fan was quick enough to catch the mascot giving the kid a silly string surprise. Wake up, Tampa Bay.
