Bobby Orr is considered by many as the greatest defenseman ever to play in the NHL. There are some out there who even say that Orr was the best hockey player of all time.
One of the reasons for those proclamations is Orr’s playoff success. He was the heart and soul of the Bruins for his entire career in Boston and that often translated to successful playoff runs.
Orr actually scored arguably the single-most unforgettable goal in the history of hockey in the 1970 Stanley Cup Finals.
Orr became known for that goal more than anything, despite winning multiple Stanley Cups.
