Test Your Knowledge About Famous Boston Bruins Brawls From Stan Jonathan to P.J. Stock, some of the most beloved Bruins have been nothing more than hardcore brawlers.

There are too many famous Black and Gold scrappers to list, but it's safe to say that just about any player on a Bruins roster in the 1970s was a tough customer. In fact, one game in particular during the 1979-80 season featured arguably the most wild and crazy fight to ever hit the ice … and the stands.

On Dec. 23, 1979, the Bruins and Rangers got into a scrap after the final horn, but they weren't alone. Fans around the glass at Madison Square Garden reached down and smacked Jonathan with a rolled-up program and then took off with his stick.

After shaking the Rangers off, the B's scaled the glass and took the fight into the seats where one member of the team used a fan's shoe against him.
