Today Show co-host Meredith Vieira will throw out the ceremonial first pitch Friday evening when the Red Sox open a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park.
Vieira wanted to get some practice in before the big game, and recruited the help of her Today Show associates to help her prepare for the toss. Not only did she get in some practice time, but she also received some pointers via satellite from David Ortiz and Tim Wakefield.
