Who Has Been the Rangers' Best Acquisition This Season? Sometimes it's the 17-year veteran journeyman — not the Cy Young Award winner or the former MVP — that gets a team into the spotlight as a potential World Series contender.

This could be the case in Texas as Darren Oliver, who has pitched for eight different clubs in his 17 big-league seasons, has been a key reason for the Rangers' 2010 success.

But Oliver isn't the only lone (new) Ranger helping rack up the wins for the first-place Texas club this season as outfielder Vlad Guerrero and ace Cliff Lee have been, and are expected to, get this team home-field advantage in the postseason.

Oliver has a 2.28 ERA in 48 appearances out of the 'pen while Guerrero has had a bounce-back season at the dish as he owns a .296 batting average, 21 homers and 86 RBIs in 107 games.

Lee, who went 8-3 with a 2.34 ERA for the Mariners before getting traded to Texas, is 2-2 with a 2.97 ERA in Arlington.

Which one of these players has been the best acquisition for the Rangers this season? Text 'SOX1' to 542542 for Vlad Guerrero. Text 'SOX2' to 542542 for Cliff Lee, or text 'SOX3' to 542542 for Darren Oliver.
