Who Will Be the Top Dawg of the Week Against the Mariners and Rays? After winning both of last week’s series to begin their homestand, the Red Sox will face two very different challenges in the coming days.

First, Boston will face the second-worst team in the AL, the Seattle Mariners, at Fenway Park. After a day off Thursday, the Sox will travel to Tropicana Field to play the league’s second-best team, the Rays.

Clay Buchholz has gone three consecutive starts without surrendering an earned run. Being that he and Matt Garza both pitched on Sunday, they will likely face each other in Tampa next Sunday.

Bill Hall cooled off last week, batting just .133, but Boston will need him to be better with Dustin Pedroia and so many outfielders on the DL.

David Ortiz legged out his first triple of the season on Sunday. In August, he is slugging .590.

Victor Martinez had a hot bat as well last week, batting .360 against the Angels and Jays.

So who will be the Top Dawg of the Week against the Mariners and Rays?
