Red Sox third baseman Adrian Beltre gave fans a scare when he wasn't in the lineup on Sunday, but it appears that Beltre's wrist injury isn't too serious.

Beltre missed Sunday's series finale with the Blue Jays, but Red Sox manager Terry Francona said following the game that Beltre will likely be back in the lineup on Monday when the Orioles come to town.

"He was checked out over at Mass General [Hospital]," Francona said after Sunday's game. "He got an
MRI, a CT scan, X-rays. He got a clean bill of health and he'll probably
play [Monday against the Orioles]."

Beltre, one of the only Red Sox regulars not to miss significant time due to injury this season, has been arguably the team's most valuable player hitting .328 with 28 home runs and 98 RBIs.

Outfielder J.D. Drew returned to the lineup on Saturday night after missing four games with an injured ankle.

While Beltre and Drew have gotten good news on the injury front, pitcher Felix Doubront may not be so lucky. The lefty will have his pectoral injury reevaluated on Monday, but it's likely that he will need to shut it down for the season.
