Bruins Can Take Plenty of Positives From Preseaon Opener in Montreal If there's any offseason rust on the Bruins, it was tough to see on Wednesday night as the Bruins cruised to a 4-2 win over the Canadiens in their preseason opener on Wednesday night in Montreal.

The Bruins got a full team effort in the exhibition with their Original Six rival in front of more than 21,000 fans at Bell Centre in Montreal.

Patrice Bergeron scored a pair of goals, Nathan Horton got his Bruins career off to a good start with a goal and rookie phenom Tyler Seguin added an assist on a Johnny Boychuk goal.

In addition, goalie Tuukka Rask looked strong in net for the Bruins.

"I thought Tuukka Rask looked pretty solid in net, very poised and he was playing the angles well," said NESN's Naoko Funayama who was in Montreal for the opener. "So all of these are certainly good signs for the Bruins."
