In what could become a larger issue this season than last year, the Buccaneers' season opener against the Cleveland Browns will be blacked out on local television within a 75-mile radius of Raymond James Stadium, according to Tampa Bay Online.

The NFL mandates that games that aren't sold out within 72 hours of kickoff must not air on local television.

According to the report, there won't be any ways around the blackout, either, no matter how creative a fan wants to get.

"The game will not be available live in any sports bars or on DirectTV Sunday Ticket, NFL.com or a mobile device inside the blackout zone," according to the report.

That will have fans resorting to more old-school methods: either going to the game or listening on radio.

Though Jacksonville struggled to get its games on television last season, the Bucs haven't been blacked out since 1997, according to the report.

There were 22 blackouts last year in Jacksonville, Kansas City, Oakland, Detroit and St. Louis, but with attendance expected to trend downward, that number could be higher this year.
