By now the reports that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been in a car accident is old news, but the Boston Police have now determined that the accident was not his fault, according to The Boston Globe.

Several witnesses of the report led the citation that the 21-year-old Brockton, Mass., resident drove through a red light into an intersection where his red Mercury Villager minivan collided with Brady's $97,000 Audi S8.

The driver, Ludgero Rodrigues, told police that he had a green light, and that the accident was not his fault, but the witness statements later proved otherwise.

Brady moved on to more exciting news as the day went on, as it has been reported that he has signed a four-year contract extension worth $19 million per season .
