Do You Think Randy Moss Will Be Playing for the Patriots in 2011? In the last three days, Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss has told the public that even though he would like to stay in New England, he doesn’t believe he’ll be a Patriot in 2011.

So what’s a Pats fan to believe?

One would assume Moss, who will be a 34-year-old 14-year veteran next season, would want to remain with a contender from now until his retirement to increase his chances of grabbing that elusive ring. And what better team to do that with than one he has already spent four seasons with?

Moss claims his postgame rant after Sunday’s win wasn’t meant to be a distraction and that he “just wanted to get something off [his] chest.”

The future Hall of Fame wideout wants to remain with the Patriots, but doesn’t know if it will work out in the end. After all — as Moss reminded the media plenty of times on Sunday — this is a business.

“I just want everybody to understand,” he said Sunday. “You can print it. I don’t care how
you put it in your ink. I want to be here as a Patriot. I love being
here. But I just think from a business standpoint this probably will be
my last year here as a Patriot, and I’m not retiring. I’m still going to
play some football. I just wanted to get that off my chest and let
y’all understand, man, that this is a business.”
