Drew Brees Tells ’60 Minutes’ About Super Bowl Ride, Mother’s Suicide

Drew Brees is used to keeping an eye on the game clock, but on Sunday night, he was hearing the ticking of a different clock as the Saints quarterback was the subject of a segment of 60 Minutes on Sunday night.

In the segment, Brees discussed everything from the potential career-ending injury he suffered with the Chargers in 2005 to how he partially blames himself for his mother’s 2009 suicide.

Interviewer Steve Kroft also talks with tight end Jeremy Shockey, linebacker Jonathan Vilma, head coach Sean Peyton and Brees’ wife, Brittany.
