FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots got a little dinged up during their 38-30 victory against the Bills on Sunday, but nothing looks overly serious.

Their biggest scare came during the fourth quarter when right tackle Sebastian Vollmer left with a leg injury, but any potential disaster has been averted. Here is the rest of the Monday health checkup.

Vollmer missed 10 plays of a 13-play series with a leg injury in the fourth quarter, but he returned after receiving attention in the locker room. Vollmer was replaced by Mark LeVoir during that one series, which resulted in a BenJarvus Green-Ellis touchdown.

Running back Fred Taylor aggravated his toe injury in the second half, and the Patriots announced that his return was questionable, although he never made it back to the field. Taylor has been listed on the injury report with the toe problem for two weeks, and he has been limited in two practices over that span.

Offensive lineman Nick Kaczur did not play against the Bills due to a back injury, and he hasn’t practiced since the second day of training camp. It's unclear when Kaczur will be ready to return, but head coach Bill Belichick sounds optimistic he will play this season.

Cornerback Terrence Wheatley did not play against the Bills due to a foot injury. He hasn’t practiced during the regular season, but he has been able to work out with trainers. Wheatley appears to be close to returning.

Wide receiver Taylor Price injured his ankle last week and did not play against the Bills. Price was limited in practice Thursday — presumably when he suffered the injury — and did not participate Friday.

Linebacker Brandon Spikes was added to the injury report Saturday and appeared to be a game-time decision Sunday. Spikes worked out on the field with the team's medical staff and suited up against the Bills, so it doesn’t appear to be anything serious.
