He may not have received the comparison very often thus far in his NFL career, but Josh Freeman did a great Tom Brady impersonation this past week.

Brady made national news this past week after "miraculously" not being injured in a car crash on Thursday before leading the Patriots to victory on Sunday.

Freeman did nearly the same thing.

On Friday, Freeman's car was rear ended, leaving the Tampa Bay QB shaken but unscathed, the St. Petersburg Times reports.

Offensive coordinator Greg Olson was very nervous when he heard the news.

"Oh, believe me. Big time. Big time,'' Olson recounted. "Again, I think it's a
credit to him and his will to want to play and his toughness.''

"It was a real gutsy performance in my opinion by Josh Freeman,'' Olson said.

Freeman was 17 for 28 for 182 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the season opener against the Browns.
