Kansas State, UCF Endure Delay of Game Following Hellacious Thunderstorm This would be where you insert your best Wizard of Oz reference.

No strangers to incredibly harsh storms, the fans in attendance for the Kansas State-UCF football game were treated to a show — in the sky.

Cinema-like clouds accompanied severe thunderstorms and torrential downpours forcing a delay just eight plays into the game on Saturday afternoon in Manhattan, Kan.

The two teams were forced to retreat to their respective locker rooms before having to sit through a delay of one hour and 28 minutes before play was resumed at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

Wildcat quarterback Carson Coffman's late touchdown run gave Kansas State a 17-13 victory over the visiting Knights.
