Marc Savard will address the media on Saturday morning at the TD Garden, presumably to provide an update on his status. NESN will air his comments, in their entirety, at 2 p.m.

NESN will have further coverage during the Bruins-Panthers game on Saturday night, with coverage beginning at 7 p.m.

The Bruins’ center has not yet participated in any hockey activity for the Bruins this preseason, as he has been suffering from symptoms of post-concussion syndrome.

Though a report this week said that Savard may miss the entire season, Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli vehemently denied that was the case, as did Savard’s agent. Savard suffered his concussion on March 7. He returned in the playoffs, though, playing in all seven games against the Flyers.

Savard is scheduled to address the media at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Check back with NESN.com for updates from the Garden.
