Matt Kenseth will make an important pit stop before this weekend’s race in Dover.

The Roush Fenway Racing driver will travel to Washington, D.C., on Thursday to give thanks to America’s "Wounded Warriors."

Kenseth, along with numerous NASCAR drivers and NASCAR president Mike Helton, will make the annual trip to Walter Reed Army Medical Center before the AAA 400 from Dover International Speedway on Saturday.

This year is NASCAR’s sixth visit to the medical center, which allows drivers to spend some time with patients and their families.
