Nathan Horton Excited to Be Playing in Hockey Town

Nathan Horton Excited to Be Playing in Hockey Town The addition of Nathan Horton was one of the first big moves made by the Bruins in the 2010 offseason, creating positive buzz after a sour end to the season. Now with the Bruins' season opener just weeks away, fans can get a glimpse of what's to come.

Not only are Bruins players and fans excited about the addition of Horton, but the skilled center is thrilled to be playing in a hockey-loving city such as Boston.  The No. 3 pick of the Florida Panthers in 2003, Horton is expected to bring a great scoring touch to the Bruins offense this season.

For now, Horton is enjoying captain's practices, and is eager to start the season to help the Bruins regroup from the tough ending of last season.

"You know the way it happened was tough," Horton told reporters earlier this week. "I think everyone wants to get back at it and turn the page and continue to get better and win the Stanley Cup."
