Former Patriots quarterback Matt Gutierrez has a career QB rating of 104.2 in the NFL. Apparently, that’s not good enough to stay in the league.
Fortunately for Gutierrez, who threw just two career passes for 18 total yards, he has found a new job.
Mike'l Severe reported via Twitter that Gutierrez, who was signed as an undrafted free agent by New England before the 2007 season, has signed with the Omaha Nighthawks of the UFL.
Gutierrez will likely back up former NFL standout Jeff Garcia for the Nighthawks.
Omaha opened its season with a thrilling 27-26 victory over the Hartford Colonials.
