In a day full of Tom Brady contract extension rumors, there's one more to add.

ESPN.com's Adam Schefter is reporting that talks between the Patriots and their franchise quarterback are gaining "momentum."

This report comes on the same day that Schefter initially dismissed talks of a three-year extension for Brady as first reported by the Boston Herald.

After initially citing sources calling the Boston Herald report "wrong" and "inaccurate," Schefter is now saying that sources have told him the two sides are working on a four-year extension.

That extension would repeatedly be worth between $18 and $20 million per season, making it a deal worth anywhere from $72-80 million.

Brady is about to open the final season of his current six-year, $60 million deal.
