Tiger Woods may be in Boston this week preparing for the Deutsche Bank Championship, but his mind is most likely elsewhere.
The Palm Beach Post is reporting that official records in Martin County are indicating that Woods will owe ex-wife Elin Nordegren $54 million in the divorce settlement, which is to be paid off by 2016.
Woods took out a $54 million-mortgage last Wednesday, two days after his divorce was finalized in Panama City Aug. 23, meaning he could lose the very house he spent five years building. Taking out a mortgage is something new for Woods, as he paid cash for the $44.5 million worth of land he used to build the home.
