Report: Tom Brady, Patriots Close to Terms on Contract Extension

Tom Brady doesn’t want to deal with his contract during the season, but it appears that the issue may be resolved before that could become a possibility.

The Patriots have reportedly offered Brady a three-year, $58 million extension — worth $19.3 million annually, the Boston Herald reports.

While Brady has not yet agreed to the deal, it is certainly of a scale that many would expect him to agree to.

The teams have made “tremendous progress” and the deal is “close to being done,” WEEI additionally reports.
