The news keeps getting worse for the New York Knicks' dream of assembling a "super team."
Carmelo Anthony looks to either be heading to rival New Jersey or staying put in Denver — with the Knicks having no chance of getting him due to a lack of elite young talent and draft picks to trade to the Nuggets — and now Tony Parker looks to be an unlikely prospect too, the New York Post reports.
Parker's wife, Eva Longoria, had suggested that Parker was interested in joining the Knicks in 2011, but he has now expressed that he wants to stay with the Spurs and that whether or not he stays in San Antonio is up to the team.
On the bright side for New York, no setbacks to the dream of bringing Chris Paul to Madison Square Garden via trade or as a 2012 free agent have come in the past week.
