It’s only a matter of time before the Pirates offer Sidney Crosby a contract — that is, if they haven’t already.
Struggling with attendance and wins, the Pirates could use Sid the Kid’s name and bat, as the face of the NHL and the Penguins’ captain took batting practice at the park on Wednesday and managed to slug one over the right-field fence.
